87-88 sail panel emblems Reply #4 – May 24, 2017, 05:15:33 PM This goes back about 20 years or so but sometimes dealers (or the car owners) used to have some chrome emblems re-plated gold. We would have a guy come to the body shop and he would hook up his device, I assume it gave the emblem some sort of charge, and turn them gold for us. They looked factory when done. Quote Selected
87-88 sail panel emblems Reply #5 – May 24, 2017, 09:45:46 PM Well I'm the one that purchased them from eBay.They are the sail panel emblems and are Gold in factory Ford packaging and it looks like the factory produced them as they don't appear to have been done as a re-done piece.Ill post some pics when I can figure out how to do so.Thanks for the responses.
