So, we do have a working search function, and this topic has been gone over and over, and then over some more.

Take a few minutes and do some reading.

Last time I checked this forum was to help ppl. I k ow it's a on going topic..I also know I'm not the only person that's wants to lower their car..So I was at work and when I had time I was looking at springs for my car.. Yes I should have researched on this forum but I figured I would get a yes or no answer..It takes less time to type in yes or no than it does what was typed in..thanks

It takes the same amount of time for you to search as it does to complain about me suggesting that you search for a well-discussed topic.

It's not a "yes" or "no" answer to that question, and it's been asked by lots of people over the past couple decades.

I'm not going to feel bad about suggesting that a member who's been on the board since '13 do a little searching.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

For your TC, you want to stay away from Fox springs on the rear unless you have modified your lower control arms. IIRC, the springs are too short and the load rating too light--you'll drag and bottom out.  You may try SN95 springs like the from the 1994-1998 Mustang GT or New Edge springs instead since these have similar load ratings.  Make small cuts as needed to lower.  I was planning on switching to 99 GT springs, but haven't gotten to them yet.

OK..Did some reading..Sn95 springs are direct fit but I was reading and most of the swaps were n v8 tbirds.
My factory TC should I use v8 or v6 sn springs

If I remember, the SN95 GT springs may be a little lower than stock TC and the 3.8 springs will drop an inch to 1 1/2".  If you do lower the car, don't forget to get caster/camber plates like MM sells.  Your front tires will thank you.

Thanks for advice..I'm just wanting to lower the front a little..It sits to high. I wish it say like my v8 bird did and I wouldn't worry about it. I probably b going with v6 springs. Thanks abunch
