Halo head rest... Yes or No??

Just curious if anyone is using the halo style head rest in a 87-88 bird or cougar? I always liked them in the 84-86 Mustang GTs... Been thinking of trying this in my car as I have the sport seats that look a lot like the seats in the 87-93 Mustang GTs.. What do you guys think? I have seen them in the 4 eyed birds and think they look great.. Ray.

I used to have them on my old seats. I liked them. It's all a matter of personal taste....what YOU want with YOUR car. I think they look cool. Just find the right color, or, dye them. If I had another set, I'd install them on my Sport.

I like the look of halos. The stock head rests are pretty much useless if you ask me. I probably wouldn't notice if it didn't have any.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I put halo's on my stock 84 seats after I had them re-stuffed and re-upholstered.

I had them on my seats, they looked great.  I couldnt lean my head back and rest against them comfortably, so I eventually switched back to the others.

yeah,, ran across a set in a car and "test sat" them in the junk yard and thought  ~wow these things must suck if you want to get comfortable on a long road trip

I am 6'5. The headrests are useless and about level with my shoulders when it's down. With it extended I have to have the seat nearly verticle and then I can't see past the sunvisors. The 4 way adjustable lx\ls style headrests actually worked though.

I have the ones you can tilt, I assume that is the 4 way.  They work great for me and very comfortable.
