Adding a Large Screen Radio and/or Backup Camera or GPS, kindly show photos. November 01, 2015, 06:04:55 AM I'm getting spoiled driving these new cars that have Backup Cameras GPS and better radios. I'd like to add these to my 87 T-Bird but all I'm finding is separate electronic devices. Each with there own screen. It would be really nice to find an aftermarket device that has everything built-in. If any one has installed something like this or at least a Backup Camera system would you kindly show photos of your install and the equipment you chose. Thanks. Quote Selected

Reply #1 – November 01, 2015, 09:20:02 AM LOL, I backed right into the garage wall in a garage we rent with my cougar yesterday. I'm so use to my explorer now with the backup cam and beeping thing. I have seen double din radios with all the bells and whistles your talking about, they don't come cheap and you would have to do some modding to get it to fit. Quote Selected

Reply #2 – November 01, 2015, 11:59:37 PM there are numerous single din units with motorized flip down screens for full panel viewing. Many are expandable to add rear camera as well. Here are 2 available from Crutchfleld.....http://www.crutchfield.com/p_110VX7012/Jensen-VX7012.html?tp=20222http://www.crutchfield.com/p_020NZ503/Clarion-NZ503.html?tp=20222 Quote Selected

If I was doing it all over the motor would have fit better with aftermarket kmember and instead of the trickflow R intake I could have used a supervic Efi and an elbow to save space and get it under stock hood. The scoop is just temporary for now till I either buy a cowl hood or make one. The color is stock for 88 xr7 I forget the name..maybe scarlet red?Just click the link in my sig if your interested in seeing the build.. All the ups and downs are right there lol Quote Selected
