1985 Thunderbird: Parting Out/For Sale Whole August 10, 2015, 06:33:43 PM 1985 Tbird 3.8 auto. The car runs and drives extremely well. Brakes are a little spongy (you would be too after sitting for the past 4 years). Only 88,xxx miles on this beast. Almost perfect door dew wipes, one crack in dash, all seats but drivers seat in very nice shape, working radio and working buttstuffog clock. Steering wheel is sticky at the top. Manual seats on both sides, manual lock car. For anyone who is a restoration guy....check out the v belt photo Trunk has bees. Will get photos after I nuke the nest. Why am I parting it out??? It was abandoned at a friends shop in 2011 after the customer couldn't pay the bill (brought in for a miss). The shop did a tune up and the car ran great. Customer couldn't pay. The shop owner spoke with the owner of the bird. They didn't want it anymore so it was passed along to me. Owner lost the title and isn't interested in getting a replacement.Asking $600. Will need a starter solenoid but starts right up by jumping the solenoid. Drive it up on your trailer. Again, selling parts or whole. Doesn't matter to me either wayMore pics to follow this evening. If you would like specific pics and want them quickly feel free to text meThanks,Justin 484-772-0071 Quote Selected

1985 Thunderbird: Parting Out/For Sale Whole Reply #3 – August 10, 2015, 07:56:53 PM It's possible but it would take some leg work. Either using a title service or running it through the state of maine. Those laws may have even changed since I was up there last. Quote Selected
1985 Thunderbird: Parting Out/For Sale Whole Reply #4 – August 10, 2015, 10:19:53 PM Interested in the back bumper and the taillights. Do you have a way to ship those to me? I started getting my 86 ready for paint and the back bumper is cracked in a way that I don't think I can easily fix. Quote Selected

Shipping won't be a problem but it may be pricy for the bumper Quote Selected

1985 Thunderbird: Parting Out/For Sale Whole Reply #13 – August 13, 2015, 06:22:38 PM are both the doors rust free, or at least not rotten? if so id be interested in buying the bare doors, minus the trim, glass, handles, etc. They would fit on a 1988, am I wrong? Quote Selected

The passengers door is flawless, the drivers side not so much. Quote Selected
