My son with the T-bird

My hometown had a car show to raise money to repair our town pool.  Despite the heat I decided to take my bird and support the cause.  This was the first show my son and I had ever really attended as father/son.  He will be 4 this week so after an hour or so he was pretty bored.  I think he will be a car guy though, he can already recognize several different make/models.  He for some reason really likes VW Bugs though...

Anywhoo, here are a couple of pics.  One with a couple of local gals who were dressed as "pin up girls" and one with my ugly mug in it.  That's my buddies brown '74 Lincoln Continental next to my car.  He went on power tour with me this year.

Nice!

Shoulda bought those girls a cheeseburger and a shake apiece...they look hungry lol.

Around here, the car shows mostly consist of baby boomers in their walkers, with rusty old Impalas and what passes for our version of a "hot rod"...

No bony high school girls to stand around and smile for the cameras here LMAO

Nah, I texted my wife the pic and she just said "Keaton (my son) doesn't look too impressed".  Lol!  Its a small town we know both girls and their families.  BTW, they are both in their 20's (not HS girls)!

It was a good show for the 1st one...I just hope they can continue it on to raise money for things the town needs.  Its pretty sad that our town pool can't be operational so that kids can go swim in the summer time.

In about 10 years your son will be much more enthused to be in a picture like that ;)

You make me want those in silver. 93 Cobra wheels look great on a Fox Thunderbird.

They really do...they almost seem like they could have been a factory wheel on these cars.

I think it's because the later MN-12 cars used a similar wheel (in 15").
