That's why I'll never move where they salt the roads

Cool licence plate though

I'd almost be willing to buy that, license it, drive it till it fell apart or blew up, and then...find a 4 eye Bird and start swapping stuff..

I'd give him $500 to get the interior parts if I needed them and s the rest of the car.

Look at the angle the prop valve is sitting at...

That is truly a sight to behold. A frightening one. Puts things in perspective.

I wanna see the door gap when the drivers side rear is jacked up.

That interior looks really clean.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Needs paint.

Seriously though, the interior, especially the dash is worth the asking price.

I didn't realize that there were two rows of pics, and I got a better look at it.

The parts are greater than the sum on this one.  Quick math, there's $1k worth of EASY parts and another $200 for the rusty shell at the syard.  Not to mention this has the small steering wheel with the cougar horn button, which is apparently as rare as a stylish mullet.

Would be a good project for my son to make some summer cash.  No time to even look at it tho..

I think the raven leather seats of the XR7 and TC are some of the most attractive of any car at any price.  The interior in this car is gorgeous!

has a rather sad story in it,, poor car is still ready to go but the owner isn't.

has an interesting paint line on the outside,, different.

I agree that's a 500$ car all day long,,, would take some serious person to rework it back to the state inspections we have now.

I think a vehicle would need to corrode at least 50% of the entirety of the sheetmetal for Jerry to turn it down as unsavable. He's very much a philosopher, and like the Ship Of Theseus, you would then be replacing so much that it's not the same Cougar anymore. :rollin:
