That is a very nice, well equipped XR-7. It appears to only be missing the sunroof or moonroof option which is understandable since it's an '86.

Just an FYI in case someone here is interested in making an offer on this car; it on Craigslist back in July for $3,000.

For a four-eye XR-7, it doesn't get much better than this guys.

Tripminder wasn't an available in '86 and never an option on XR-7's. ;)

Hope it found a good home.

I thought 86 was the final year for Tripminder, and it woukd make sense with the base, or full buttstuffog clusters, it was totally redundant with the full digital.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I was referring to the 7-button Tripminder computer that replaces the standard clock in the center of the dash and due to the topic of this thread, just Cougars.

It was an option on Cougar and Cougar LS from '83-'84, but was dropped as an option for the Cougar in '85.

The Tripminder (name changed to Trip Computer for '87-'88) was still available in '85-'88 in the form of the upgraded Electronic Instrument Cluster option but I was only referring to the original 7-button stand alone option.

It continued to be an option on Thunderbirds through '86, however it was not available on the Turbo Coupe except for oddly, it did for '86 only.
