******Ughh*****.....stanceworks.

'Kay, now that that's out of the way :rollin: Nice car, and it doesn't look ridiculous. Interior looks nice too...I wonder if the dash-mounted rearview mirror works well or not. Different, and reminiscent of some cars of decades before Ford made even this car.

I swear I saw this thing for sale on CL last year or early this year. Washington state sounds correct too. The pictures with the white wheels look very familiar...
1987 20th Anniversary Cougar, 302 "5.0" GT-40 heads (F3ZE '93 Cobra) and TMoss Ported H.O. intake, H.O. camshaft
2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...
1988 Black XR7 Trick Flow top end, Tremec 3550
1988 Black XR7 Procharger P600B intercooled, Edelbrock Performer non-RPM heads, GT40 intake AOD, 13 PSI @5000 RPM. 93 octane

See I figured someone would rag on it for coming from stance works. but the car doesnt have shiznit loads of negative camber, nor stretched tires. so all is well in my book.

I actually like the center exit exhaust.  I'm curious what issues were run into WRT the fuel tank with that.  Not sure I'd be brazen enough to attempt that.  I do like it though.

From the OP on the thread over there:

I did some googling and it turns out no one has ever slammed one of these cars or really done much of anything to them

Guess his Google-Fu needs work  :hick:

I agree...the car is great. I just couldn't pass the opportunity to profess my hate for the extremes of that movement (and the silly-looking ones seem more the norm than outlier to me...) It's like anything that makes a car near-unusable. Trailer it? Let it sit in the garage? Sure, make it phyiscally unable to make use of our road infrastructure. But cars are meant to be driven, especially a toy/hobby car! I can't understand it...
