Door window problem, help!

Hello, everyone, I am new here.
I have an 87 Cougar with the typical window issue.
I have had it fixed before, but this time one of the
clips broke. :-(
Is there anywhere that sells replacement clips?

Dorman has them.

Check for them at autozone or orileys in the "help" section.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

then use high quality silicone in the cradles,, then clean your vertical tracks,, then roll up the window,,, then don't lower it for a day.

Also sand/scuff up the glass before epoxy or whatever you use.  Lube up and make sure your tracks are clean and not binding.  I think last time I used Goop automotive adhesive, been holding good for years now.  Prob just jinxed myself

Ok because you are new here goes. My full length window channels are the only fix. As you posted you had it fixed before. Only way is this way .
Doorman ones are garbage and i have tried every chemical on this planet. Bottom line the clips are to small. Now we can thrash it around again for a couple of days. have a great evening guys

You gonna start marketing those?  I'd buy a set.

I've been lucky with aquarium grade silicone.  It's been holding on the passenger window for about 5 years now.  The driver side even longer.
