Seriously, how much do some of these sellers think our cars are worth???  :screwy:

Sure it's NOS but a Standard replacement can be had for $60 on RockAuto.

I saw that the other day and also LOLed. There are a few other NOS parts on eBay right now that are ridiculously overpriced. But people will always try to milk something, even if nobody is thirsty...

Especially  for something you can live without.
Current: 1986 Thunderbird, 105k 3.8/C5, 2 tone  Midnight Wine/Medium Taupe, wing windows, wire wheel covers.


Former: 1985 Cougar GS 115k Oxford White/Regatta Blue, 5.0, full console, 14" 8 hole aluminum T-Bird rims, Edelbrock valve covers.

That's what they are doing otherwise they would offer it as 'Best Offer' or start at a low price w/ a decent reserve.  Maybe we need to start contacting such sellers and offering them a equally ridiculous low price to keep balance in the universe. :D  I'm thinking $20 shipped for the door lock! ;)

The rod on mine seems to have popped out of the plastic clip going to the rod on the lock itself.  I can hear the motor working, but the lock stays put.  I gotta hit the salvage yard for one of those plastic clips.  I'm not getting one from a dealer and parts stores are a bust.

I have a NOS in box dome light cover. I want $150 for it :mullet:.

Geesh. Ebay be crazy.
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.
