I don't know much about the wiring on these. Some 88's? Also, blue or which shade of green?

What he means is that on some 88 models the "fuel flow" wire in the factory harness will not be connected (it will be there, but not connected to the computer). I was lucky - mine was connected :D If you don't mind running a wire from the right kick panel area to the center of the dash you can easily make it work in an '88 that doesn't have it connected.

You can tell easily enough if the wire is "live" - plug the tripminder in and go for a drive. If your fuel economy is in the 100 MPG range it's not connected (the tripminder sees no fuel flow so it thinks you're getting impossible fuel mileage). Also, if you go to the "fuel used" mode it'll always report zero gallons used.

actually Carm, i mean that some 88's dont have the connector for the clock in the harness

it appears that most of our cars didnt got the fuel flow wire in the clock harness, the wire thats in the position of the fuel flow wire is actually the dimmer/illumination wire for the clock, buttstuffog and digital

the tripminders are the blue/gray when lit, but you can hardly even tell the difference, when i tested my TBird tripminder, and the crown vic ones, there wasnt much difference

Do you know if the manifolds & TB would fit a '93 ranger 4-banger?  lookin at making my friend's truck a turbo ranger.
