DON'T screw this up. Plan CAREFULLY, vary your times and intervals....overkill down to the last boring seemingly-insignificant-farfetched detail.

Haha...please make sure you continue to highlight this foible.

Screw it to the pole with tamper-proof screws. Sure they can bust it off with a pry bar, but it would slow them down a little ;)

So it's at the joint of the dealership driveway and the road? Still. . Insert rantings about inefficient and incompetent government, etc.
That's hilarious.

Dayum!!! I gotta say I've never seen that in VA...

There is a street near here leading to new apts that was just widened and has pole situated similar to Scott's first posting, BUT it's yellow taped off till VA Power can move it...

The people who pave these roads and/or plant the poles are clearly Obama voters LOL.

In other words, they do as they want without regard to others' lives.. Unreal. If I had a beater, I'd be tempted to hit one, then sue whatever entity created the hazard. Less the cost of sad beater, the gas needed to move it into contact with said pole, and of course the insurance. Proceeds above and beyond those would go to Wounded Warriors. ;) Who's in? LOL

Yep, stuff like this actually happens alot.

I had a job to move a pedestal amplifier ped where they were widening a road. Put it right in the center. We talked to the road crew forman and told him we'd we there at midnight to move it. He got mad and said he had asphalt coming at 5 am and if it was still there he'd pave over it.

When we showed up at midnight, they ran it over with a steam roller and compacted road base all around it. We got to dig down through almost 5 ft of gravel to get down to the flattened box.

Luckily they left the keys in the steam roller, they parked it right on top. I wonder if they ever found they keys? They came up "missing" right after we finished...

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Just about any cabinet / toolbox key will start a steamroller / heavy piece of equipment.  Ask me how I know... Okay I'll tell.  There was a forktruck looked just like this that was parked out back at work.  I tried my toolbox key and it started right up.  Did some doughnuts and called it a day.  Fun, fun.
