Todays Road Trip

I took a little road trip today to deliver the parts that custompunk purchased. It was a nice ride and the Jeep averaged 20.2 to 22.4 mpg. Not stellar but not bad for a 5k lb box with the little V6. I had a great time talking with John and he let me drive his Bird :burnout: when we went to lunch (which he paid for). Real nice guy!! I'm going to have fun with the cowl that we swapped.

I can't say enough good things about John!  (aka 1BadBird)

The man drove 10 hours to help me out.  Not only that but I now have enough parts to keep me super busy all summer long.  I have acquired the Hood, trunk, and bumper cover I need to finish the body work and get ready for paint.  I also have enough interior pieces to replace all the worn and junk pieces that are in the bird now.  I am so happy about this meetup we had.  John is a very awesome person and I hope that we get to meet again.

Here are some pics of the parts haul.
