88 Turbo Coupe

Hi Guys I just had an 88 TC given to me. I am interested in upgrading some aspects of the car but am not sure what parts to get or where to find them. I am interested in exhaust but do not know what brand to even look at. This is just the beginning if you guys could help with this I would be off to a great start.  :D

there is only one actual company who makes exhaust for these cars, and thats ATR

generally, most TC guys custom fab the exhaust

im actually going to go with a full 3", which is consisting of a downpipe from Stinger (ill get the website when i can find the link again), a dynomax ultraflow ler, and im talking with a company who sells 3" tailpipes for mustangs, to see if they can possibly make one to my specs, and the rest is being made by myself and a friend

also, what are the details of the car? automatic? 5-speed?

It is a 5 speed. Do most guys custom fab exhaust because ATR is lacking quality or due to excessive price

the exhaust is good quality, but like youve seen, its expensive

the downpipe thats in the mail is 100 bucks, the ler was 80, the tail pipes should be 160 (id buy only one, but they wont split em up), and i might need to buy some other sections, but it should come out to less than the cost of just the catback

About how many PSI of boost wiil the gauge register on a stock motor. Also My motor has about 200,000 miles and feels tired. I'm going to do a tune up to see if that helps. I just replaced the air filter and it looked like it had not been replaced in three years. so imagine the rest of the tune up parts. I also was wondering if anyone knew where to find a simple re-ring and bearing kit. I want to do that until I get back to the states next year.
