FMS Anniversary Wheels Now On Bird :D Reply #6 – December 08, 2013, 09:18:27 PM You can find just the wheels for $600 brand new.http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/item/SVE-1007ABA/1994-04-Mustang-Anthracite-Sve-Anniversary-Wheel-17X105If the tires are shot then they are little to no value so I would rather have new wheels and even pick my color (grey, black, chrome) rather than some wheels that have been run through at least one set of tires. Offer him/her $400 cash and walk away if they say no.Darren Quote Selected
FMS Anniversary Wheels Now On Bird :D Reply #7 – December 08, 2013, 11:27:30 PM ^hell yeah.I really dig those. I'm going to have to find an image of a 4 eyed coupe with a 5 lug swap and those wheels....I know how they look with the Bullitt wheels, and I love that look...but these look like they would be even better.I'd also like to see them on a Tbird...although I'm actually debating about going back to 4 lug on the bird and running the turbines. FMS Anniversary Wheels Now On Bird :D Reply #9 – December 09, 2013, 02:39:49 AM These are not the knock-offs you can get there or any of the other places. These are "Ford Motorsports" wheels. The tires were used on other wheels and this was the first time ANY tires were mounted on them. I didn't have my tire gauge with me but you could still see the 2 grooves and a little bit of the depth "dimples". There are no cords showing or cuts/gouges in the rubber.Oh and the tire size is 275/40/17s Quote Selected
FMS Anniversary Wheels Now On Bird :D Reply #10 – December 09, 2013, 12:58:10 PM I'm kind of partial to them too! That's because they came on Tenth Anniversary Cobra's. Though mine are 17x 9. Quote Selected
FMS Anniversary Wheels Now On Bird :D Reply #11 – December 09, 2013, 05:45:27 PM If they are indeed factory Ford Motorsport wheels (they do appear that they are), then they would be 17x9's not 10's.As far as the price, yes, you can buy aftermarket knock-off's for the same money, but that is a fair price for factory Anniversary wheels if they are in excellent condition. FMS Anniversary Wheels Now On Bird :D Reply #12 – December 09, 2013, 06:45:33 PM Yes it is. I did some looking myself. Saw a few sets that were around a thousand bucks, and w/o tires too. Quote Selected
FMS Anniversary Wheels Now On Bird :D Reply #13 – December 09, 2013, 07:54:19 PM They are 10's. The guy also has a set of grey 17x9's on his Saleen and these are wider. He looked long and hard for these and yes they are in excellent shape. :-) I texted the guy and he'll get a pic of the numbers and size on the inside of the wheel tomorrow for me. Not trying to argue with anyone. :-D Quote Selected
Now with Pics Reply #14 – December 14, 2013, 09:05:32 PM Ok, Well.........I'm eating crow right now. Lots of it lol. (bowing head in shame) The wheels look wider cause they're off the car. I took a look again and yep they are only 9s. I took a couple of pics with one of my fenders. Quote Selected
