88 Sport Coupe - Removing driver's seatbelt buckle bolt - which wrench size ?

I have an 88 Tbird Sport coupe and the driver's seatbelt buckle needs replacement, but I do not know what size bolt it is, and what type of wrench I need. It is very hard to get in there to see it, let alone remove it.

I was told that the 88 Mustangs have a T47 bolt but im not sure of the size. My guess is 3/8" but who knows if the Tbird is the same ?

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated ..thanks! :)
