engine stumbles when building boost Reply #3 – September 21, 2013, 02:14:34 PM When my XR-7 (2.3t) did that it was a burned spark plug wire that would only arc at high RPMs. It idled fine, but would stumble when boosting. Threw on a new set of wires and it was fine. Quote Selected
