Preview of my next retrofit. Reply #3 – May 26, 2013, 07:39:21 PM Projector lens. This one is a s lens from a mazda3 which means nothing to me. It's simply a part to test on. I'm going to try to get a hold of some Bosch E46 type D3S projectors and some Osram Zenarc ballasts. The next set that comes into the bodyshop with broken housings, I'm going to buy out the core charge and get going on a kickass retro. I miss the HIDs I retro'd into my Escape. I'll pick up some ZKW-R lens' from TRS, etch them, and pop it together. I was thinking about some Morimoto mini D2S's but I want to use a 3" projector. Quote Selected

Preview of my next retrofit. Reply #5 – May 26, 2013, 08:05:18 PM Shouldn't do anything to the beam. I used a Dremel and diamond carbide bits. I'm going to grab another one and try sandblasting, too. Quote Selected

Preview of my next retrofit. Reply #10 – October 05, 2013, 10:36:44 PM No, it didn't etch well. I want to get some more lenses to try sandblasting. It's still only a priority 3 side project. Quote Selected
