85 tbird parts car

what parts should i keep body is rusty interior is clean but its blue
it a v8 car i bought the car for the motor and tranny to swap in to my v6 car
parts car must go no room for it just dont know what part i should keep that are hard to find

How about some pics? I agree with Firstbird though. Keep all of the windows and the taillights. There's so much to list. I'd keep pretty much everything that was good and would come off. Post in the "Parts for Sale" section and make some extra $$$.

I would keep any trim on the outside of the car. Bumper, header panel, lights, emblems etc.
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.

I would keep anything in good condition...
in 5 years, those may be the only parts you ever see again for these cars

Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D

All the above. Park brake cables if they're not seized. Complete fuel lines (you'll want those for your swap). All the keys/locks/column lock cylinder if they're all there and working. Engine harness. Fuel injector harness.

Interior door handles, I had one break a few months ago and couldn't find any for weeks. Really frustrating until I was able to find one in a junk yard...LOL

any window trim, dew wipes, and felts, if good shape
