Strut Tower Brace

I just put mine on this morning. I really didn't think it would make that much difference, but it does. Just another piece of the puzzle.

They are remarkable in how they stiffen the body.  I could feel the difference closing the doors.

It feels different all around. Now I need to get some camber plates.

Well, I guess you can put as many as you can squeeze in there, but one will work. By the way, how's you 331 stroker coming?

Yes, I too was surprised at the price. I do know that there are more than one company who manufactures these for our cars. Do a search here for pics. and see if you happen to like one more than the others. Also as stated on one of the post here, there is one that will hit the hood depending on the car you own.

Looks good :).

I added a strut tower brace to mine after I had subframes welded in. I noticed a slight difference but not as much as the subframe connectors made. If you can get some subframe connectors next. It will stiffen up the car nicely.

I was checking out the job "ic" did on his car. We got some great fabricators on this forum! Welding up 1"x 2" stock looks like it would be plenty and make a world of difference on a daily driver with more or less than 300 hp when I'm done.
