Give TRZ Motorsports out of Kissimmee Florida a call 407-933-7385, great group of guys, I met Mike at MIR a couple years ago, he came over to my pits and took a look at my car and set me up with a nice double adjustable upper and lower control that kept my rear end centered in the wheel well. The upper control arm was made using the double adjuster part from a Ford and the box part for the GM car to give the correct length and the lower arm(double adjustable) is for a mustang, because of the double adjuster it gives you the length you will need. If you call them ask for Mike and tell him that Donnie with the Red Thunderbird told you about them.

I've got the CHE arms on mine. Love 'em.

Avoid anything made by UPR, unless you want to support a ripoff artist who makes parts out of cheap chinese steel. That goes for Granatelli stuff as well. Utter junk. That is all.

My CHE arms look as if you could prop up an M1 Abrams tank for a week with it, then slap it back in a Tbird, and it would be just fine. Solid stuff.

My friend Steve has a UPR/Granatelli k member for a Stang...looks like it was made from a sack full of recycled tuna cans. Flimsy, cheap, and will probably break first time he pulls the front wheels, and it lands.

I got CHEs on both cars..... really nice stuff

and if your planning a lot of HP... install some battle boxes while your putting the arms in... the torque boxes will become your weak link in the setup, and rip right off your car eventually, due to the new arms not flexing like the stock arms did.

I have Griggs single adjustable lowers (specifically for a T-Bird) and Global West double adjustable GM A-Body uppers (just happen to be the correct length do a search here for more info on this) on my '83.  The stock torque boxes are only spot welded so we fully mig welded them.  I would say that the majority of the guys here have the CHE units and for the money they are an excellent buy and the customer support has been touted as really good.  Maximum Motorsports makes the lower control arms for our cars but does not make the uppers as they want you to run a pan-hard bar and torque arm.  Griggs does not make an upper control arm either for the same reasons as MM or I would have run it as the rest of the suspension on the car is Griggs (3" tail pipes are not conducive to a pan-hard bar or Watts link).  Global West does make lower control arms specifically for the T-Birds and they have a part number for the GM A-Body uppers for our cars (something about a bushing difference).  Other than those companies I am not sure who else makes them.

I have CHE uppers and lowers.  They are very good quality, but do take awhile to get.

I have CHE uppers and adjustable lowers and they're killer. As stated before take a while to ship. I waited almost 5 months before I even saw mine.

As far as Granatelli pieces, My k-member is a granatelli piece, and it looked to be the beefiest one on the market.

Ha ha ha!!! Granatelli, beefiest one on the market...oh, man my sides hurt.  The reason is that they have no design at Granatelli but they do have R&D...rip off and duplicate and when that fails they just glob it up.  Just do a search on the Mustang websites and you will see how much Jr is appreciated.  Beefiest is more like "hopefully this shiznit won't break like everything else does".

Sorry about the rant but Jr is just a complete piece of trash.

I used to run the Maximum Motorsports lower arms on my bird, but i got tired of the bushing issue. I welded up the upper and lower mounting points on mine and been low 1.40's in the 60. When I order my stuff from TRZ its normally at my house within 7 days or less.
