87 cougar 20th anniversary $1500

Hello.. I am selling my 87 20th.  Its a great car and can be driven anywhere in the country.  Ive had the car since 40k miles and it now has 125k. Its in great shape.  The only flaws are the driver seat has a rip at the bolster and the top of the dash has a couple of cracks.  Everything works.. has nice tires.. ive been daily driving it for years.  The only thing not stock is it has flowmaster duals which will need replacing at some point.  I wouldnt blink at driving this car to cali and back.  The car is located long island ny

Hmm the two cats in front of the Cougar look just like my cats....same color and everything.

Just a comment. Good luck with the sale :).

yes sir, pics of interior and engine,, one angle from the driver door open to catch the front area, one to the rear to catch the rear seats, then one over the engine bay but,,, from the confidence in your write up, i to really dont see the point.  a couple or three more pics might help.

It`s not that it`s worth nothing, it`s that it`s being advertised on a message forum where most members are in different states, many are in different countries (myself included). I`d love to have it, and if it were local I`d be all over it. Try Craigslist to find local buyers...

I have the car on craigslist locally and also on my fb page which is what my comment is about.  1000 for a working reliable car is great deal.  Anyway.. when I can I will put up some more pics.

Question:
your tired of driving a car that is totally different from everything else out there?  I have to bet money it turnes heads and people wonder what it is.
My son gets that all the time with his bird in charlottsville va,, and of course the wife with her 70Ghia.

I really do love the car and they are great cars.  My parents bought a 20th new in 87.  I grew up around that car and learned to drive in it.  They had it til the early 2000s.  When I found mine it was a blast from the past.. I had to have it.  I put a whole bunch of miles on it over the years.  All it ever needed was tune ups.. a couple of water pumps.. batteries etc.  Never anything major.  Ive taken it all around the country.  I have a twin turbo 3000gt that runs 10s.. a diesel pickup.. a 69 camaro.. and I drove the cougar the most.  I picked up a subaru outback that is more practicle with all the room inside and the awd.  The cougar got great milage for what it was but the subaru gets better milage and I can move parts without having to use the truck.  I hope someone takes care of it like I did.. for $1000 people are calling and I think it will be sold tonight

If you were closer, the title would have my name on it, and you'd be a grand richer ;)
