new-ish to site, my car.

well, im kind of new here, been lurking on and off. my car is a 1986 mercury cougar ls that i picked up off a neighbor for $100. i do have some big plans ( 5.0HO +t5 swap, full body resto), but as usual, cashflow is being directed elsewhere. basically the car is old, tired, and waiting for a restoration. interior is mint, windows do not work (thank god for wing windows). drivers door does not lock, car has power every freakin thing(nothing really works). gauge cluster is super dim(digital). 3.8 auto with column shifter. but in its defense, the car only has 89k miles, and it starts up and runs. ill be attaching a link to the video of the day  got it, and a few pictures.

Welcome and good luck getting her up to snuff. The window and door locks shouldn't be to hard to fix. I have had simlar problems. Mine ended up being a bad lock solonoid and a window that came out of the track. Also did a T5 swap on mine. It was surprisingly simple and is tons of fun to drive.

There's no getting over this addiction. I may not always have a Thunderbird, but I will ALWAYS have that craving.
