I got a set of wheels from a Mustang guy and need to know what size tire i should go with? They are staggerd 17x8 & 17x9. What are some of you guys running? They will be going on my 87 LX Bird.

The most direct +3 is 245/45R17 this will be virtually the same cirspoogeference as your originals, there should be no speedometer accuracy issues.

Foe, Can i run that size front and rear? The rear will be 9 inch wide, wasnt sure if that would be an issue? Runninig same size will help the wallet tho! :)

You can, and you should, but while that will fit nice on the 17x8's, it might look a little funky on the 17x9's.
