T-bird/Cougar Sheet metal interchange question.

My friend has an 84 T-bird, his uncle found an 88 cougar being parted out. Will sheet metal interchange from the doors forward? I searched and found nothing. He needs both doors and fenders, anything else swap? (I know trunk lids are different).
Thanks.

fenders, hood, doors, and header will bolt up, but the body line is different... it will look funky.....
interiors are pretty swappable

I have seen an 87-88 car with 83-86 doors on them. So it should work the other way around.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
