IHI turbo rebuild

How much does it cost to get an IHI rebuilt? A guy in town is selling two ihi turbos for $150. One needs a rebuild and the other is good. If i get the one rebuilt, can i still make a profit?

IIRC, the compressor wheel has been unavailable for some time. Take that into account before you make a decision.

Anyone that is in the KNOW will not buy an IHI. I have used them on Honda engines. But bottom line they are USELESS.

The cost to rebuild an IHI is going to be WAY more that anyone would be willing to pay for one...  I wouldn't say they are useless, but it would take a very specific type of person (perhaps someone who wanted to keep their TC 100% factory stock) to even be interested in an IHI.
