the wkend ride..'88 sport August 08, 2012, 07:01:37 PM '88 sport 306 with 5spd conversion. 4.11 posi rear, alum ds, all the bolt on motor goodies, full header back exhaust no cats. ran fastest of 13.05 on nitto drag radials launching around 3gs. this resulted in a blown apart clutch so it now has a dual friction center force. got this one for a steal also. tube rear control arms and lowering springs on the way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbOJeXiIDN4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18psGRhMBBM Quote Selected

the wkend ride..'88 sport Reply #11 – August 09, 2012, 06:57:44 PM alum gt40 heads and the line goes to the catch can for if oil comes out from over pressure(correct me if im wrong guys). the line would usually go from the valve cover to the tb. the can allows u to empty it rather than it blow back through the intake. not aware of a blow shield so im gonna assume I dont have one. when the clutch went..half of the surface material was gone and lots of bent fingers on pressure plate. was still drivable but very hard to get in and out of gear due to it not disengaging all of the way Quote Selected

With a MAF system it's important to have it working like it did from the factory for correct air metering.Looks good. Nice times for a aluminum GT40 head car. With a little work I bet you could get into the 12s :). Quote Selected
