Fuel flow wire from EEC pin 34 runs where?

I'm redoing all my addon wiring from the last ten years and was hoping to tap my tripminder into a wire location that will allow me to clean up the kick panel area. Where does the blue/pink stripe wire run? It disappears behind the dash and I can't find where it comes back out.

My kick panel area is a mess after mass air, TCS, tripminder, USB from the quarterhorse chip, and a few other miscellaneous wires I can't remember what they are right now. I can't even get the EEC back in its plastic holder due to all this.

I've only found one mention of the wire and where it runs in cars without a digital cluster - halfway to nowhere. I assume it terminates somewhere, but where? There is nothing at the cluster's connector, I have no "plug and play" tripminder harness anywhere in the center of the dash, but I can't believe they'd just have a wire cut and ending in the middle of the harness.

Okay, so logically it makes sense that the blue/pink wire would go into the engine bay. Following it, it ended up here:

I'm undecided if I want to tap into it there and run it into the cabin. What is this wire used for over here? Do those connectors tie into cruise control? How does the factory run it for the digital clusters? Is it brought in from here, or a separate run through the dash?

I'm going over my 87 harness,and that fuel flow wire goes to my black connector,then to the full digi. #34 at the ecc and to #4 on the brown B plug. At the moment I got the eec harness and dash harness set up on my pool table, If anybody needs to know something.

Thanks for the information, I'm thinking I will run the wire from there back into the car for the tripminder. I'm hoping to remove everything from the passenger pickpanel that I can. I think I'm still stuck leaving mass air wires there, along with at least some of the wires for my transmission computer.
