I have some old car magazines from late '82 with road tests on the 83 TC and the testers all moaned about the lack of a tach. The test cars obviously would have been pre-production prototypes. Ford may have come up with the clock-tach as a stop-gap solution to the moaning, and then changed again and decided to change the cluster instead Quote Selected
