Nice Tripminder

I took the Tripminder out of my 85 that I am selling and put the original clock back in.  This Tripminder is in great shape and everything works properly.  Includes a custom harness I made for plug and play with no cutting of your factory wiring.  $40 shipped.  Here are a couple of pics and a video of the unit working in my car.

And me in between pay days..lol.

How easy would it be for me to modify it to a red display?

If it's pretty easy, and you still have it next Thursday, I'll send you a postal money order... :)

On this particular unit it would be a bit tricky to switch it to a red display only because I have already been through this one and I glue the lenses back in place after I remove them to polish them.  I do have another one I have been meaning to work on but haven't got a chance that I could sell you cheaper if you wanted to do the work yourself.  You would need to use your clock brackets for it and wire it up yourself, but I have some red lens that I could give you along with it to switch the color yourself.

Edit: Here are some pics of the other unit I have.  I could do $30 shipped on it.

You have any that are still crownvic plugs/bracket? My wagon could use one sooner or later.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I've got to get the family car in the shop, so I may be pinched for funds this week, so if you've got a willing buyer, let them have it first :)

You seem to get 'em pretty steadily, so I'll pick one up from ya a little later, for sure.
