You Guys have it GREAT in Southern California. Our Pennsylvania Chapter tried it but our last FREEZER MEET was 16 degrees :)

Our SoCal Chapter has had a cruise EVERY MONTH for about FOUR STRAIGHT YEARS! Contact the coordinator and bring a few Friends.

Five of those members are in the Chicago area. If they have a cruise/meet I'll stop buy to see some other big Fox owners. I'm putting the T-bird away for the winter in a couple of weeks as the weather is starting to go south. If they have something going on in the spring/summer of 2013 let me know and I'll meet up with them :).

Actually sometime in May or June would be cool. Perhaps we could meet at a cruise night? I'll have to wait till the schedules come out in the spring :).

It IS something fun to do!
Basically, as a Coordinator, you pick the date, the time, and the place, and you show up. We do all of the announcements and answer the questions; except for directions. That's where you would come in . As the coordinator, on the day of the event, you would tell the staff of the venue where we meet, that there are two cars or twenty-two cars or sixty two cars in your party and that each car has their own bill. If the event starts at noon, we tell the staff that we'll start ordering at 1:00 PM and should be there for an hour or two.

A sample event listing would say something like,

The sooner the ~actual~ event is scheduled with us, the more promotion time it gets.
The more promotion time it gets, the more people read the notice.
The more people that read the notice, the higher the turn out.
The higher the turn out, the more fun we have playing with cars.

Wash, rinse, repeat.
