It should be direct bolt on but the front ends swapped just look very funky.

funky isn't the word i'd use.. lol but it's a direct bolt on.. remove the badging, cut the roof off and take the front end off and birds/cougars are identical, side by side.. PM dougy fresh, he's parting out a few cars.. he may have all of what you need

aaah, she's a 4 eyed bird.. any 83-86 header/bumper will look good.. i don't think an 87-88 aero from end would look very good with the overall flow of the car.. and the impact moldings won't line up correctly

Surprise butt shag with caddilac

Plus 100 mile commute on your only car, and and old broken down 87 cat missing an engine

Equals

Total time, about 2 hours. Didn't even have to swap out any light bulbs.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

In my opinion a 4 eyed cougar front end on a four eyed tbird body is the epitome of fox style.

Heck, I thought the cougar and bird 4 eye headers were the same till I bought a 4 eye cougar and realized that not a single headlight surround or grille would fit between the cougar and bird.

Heh I learned that lesson a few years ago when I sold a pair of Tbird headlight buckets to a dude with a 4 eye Cougar on craigslist. When we met up I held them up next to his car and had an oh shiznit moment. He ended up buying them anyway though.

Heck yeah it'll work:

I love my Thundercat. I've actually come to like it more than the old front end. Oddly enough still haven't painted it but people keep telling me to leave it as is and like the two colours, lol. It's got a personality for sure.

Oddly enough I've never had anyone at all even mention or give it much notice that its two cars, heh. They just notice the colours.
