Exhaust question... February 22, 2012, 01:04:26 PM Hey guys I'm new to the board. Just bought an 87 Tbird about a month ago and knew it would need an exhaust. its a stock 5.0 right now. I wanna go dual with it and I've been told fox body h pipe would work on it.... anyone have any thoughts or experience with this? Quote Selected
Exhaust question... Reply #1 – February 22, 2012, 01:29:52 PM On my 88. I used stock Mustang shorty headers, bolted up to a Summit Hpipe and stock 94 Cobra lers with the stock flowtube attatched. You may need a double hump crossmember, my car already had one on it. It all bolted in like it was made for it.I dont have tailpipes on currently, It is just dumped after the lers. Quote Selected
Exhaust question... Reply #2 – February 22, 2012, 04:55:00 PM same on mine, we used a jegs mustang 2.5 inch catback with dumps, came in about 8 inches too short... looked funky because it was right below the gas tank (like wheelie bars)had a exhaust shop custom make from the axle back using my catback kit, cost me $90 or so.
