Calling all Cougar owners from older to newer cats this is where you'll want to be this summer. It is the 45th Anniversary of our Mercury Cougars and they will be a (featured marque) ride at this event. :cool:

Do to them having a "Good Guys Street Rod Carshow" over in Columbus this same weekend in July all hotel rooms fill up very quickly. However last year (Ric) blknredcougar and ourselves stayed at the Red Roof Inn just minutes away from the Arthritis Showfield for a fair room rate.

I'm going this year, and have been going for the past 4 or 5 years. It's a Great show. But this year I will not be Judged with the Cougars But I will be Judging the Cougars. I will be in (Class 11 Documented Original Owner - 1987 & Older) But I've been aloud to be parked with the Cougars .... Now that being said this is a 100 point Judged show so be on your game cleanliness matters just ask Dan he will tell you.......AND NO I CAN NOT BE BOUGHT....It is a GREAT show so, I hope to see more Cougars this year

I plan on attending but I won't be entering my Catmobile. It's not quite carshow ready yet. I planned on it being so but the government took most of my money.

p.s. Friday July 6th is a Cruise-In from 10am till 8:30 pm (EST) with Saturdays Carshow set for 7:30 "or when registered" till 4pm also (EST) some of us are located in the (CDT). :poke:

I'll have to check the local scene to see what's going on locally, but if there's nothing happening up here, I will probably be able to make this show. It's only about an hour away, so I won't need a motel, which greatly increases my chances of being there. :) The Cat isn't really "show" worthy, and won't win any prizes, but the more, the merrier, right?

I doubt we will go. 1. we no longer own any cougars or t-birds, 2. gas prices, 3. we usually spend that weekend/week at my best friend's house camping.

Mark , # 06 Production 1965-1987 Hardtops is your class, located along side with the 1955-1964 T-birds and other production Hardtops of those years . :)

Things just keep getting more exciting down here in [COLOR="red"]evil[/COLOR] Evansville as Paula has just been served papers to be on Jury Duty from July 2nd through Sept 30th. I might have to have her cloned so she can be in 2 places at once....
