Shame (john), Sorry it looked like Shane on my iphone when i was replying earlier and i couldnt see the "john" in your sig,  Guys im not saying im better then anybody because i work on those types of cars, i know talented guys that are just weekend warriors and have jobs nothing to do with cars. You guys are the ones saying we dont do what we do and thats really not fair. I didnt come on here to be a  "gm nut swinger" or to brag about the cool shiznit ive worked on, i came on here because i like fords, and my 2.3T, i wouldnt have owned a ton of them if i didnt like them, but i happen to like other cars that arent fords too.

Its a car message board, who cares if somebody is pen 15y or rude, were all here because we like the same thing

Please take the following as constructive critisizm.  I'm glad you guys are on the board and am SURE you are both very talented with wrenches.  I think what is going on here is that some folks on the board are tired of the bragging and back patting going on by yourself and Tom.  Its good you are proud of your work and your rides, hell I'm proud of my pile of junk and its just an old T-bird.  It just gets a little old seeing it day after day.  It does seem like you all feel like you are "gracing" us with your presence since you do work on higher profile stuff than most of the rest of us.

I'm hopeful all this BS will calm down (on both sides) and the drama can go away.  I like this place because it is for the most part drama free.  A couple of these type of threads always emerge this time of year.  Its winter, working on cars has slowed up for many, and we are all cranky and ready for spring.

To be quite honest, Tom and Tom were brought into this thread. They didn't start this thread.

I agree Vin.  When I 1st saw this thread (and posted the "mussel car" thing) I seriously thought it was a thread for them to show their stuff off.  The mussel car comment was my attempt at humor from another thread where the word muscle car was mispelled.

I will stop commenting on this topic now as my attempts to smooth things over are probably not going to work.  Its hard to convey sarcasm, humor, etc over the internet.

CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?!?!  lol

Hey Tom. Thanks. I'd love to get there. I doubt I can in reality, though. Too much stuff always going on here. I hate being so far from everything, and always short on funds, but, that's all good. It is what it is. LOL.

If you care to venture we will be their. It is a great place to be at the FORD nationals we go every year. And naturally the chevy nationals as well. Well if you can get their we can hook up. I just spoke to JR and told him to cool it. Sorry for the bickering it aint GOOD. But i tried to ignore posting as you may have noticed. It seems like i over stayed my welcome. Thanks and have a good night.

i love the red car they guy forgot to latch closed!
we have a customer with a vette that left his door ajar by accident and backed into his garage with it open... my god the damage was brutal.
i loved seeing the before and after. we arnt a body shop but we service it and he had the pictures on his phone. i was surprised he admited to doing soemthing. i told him i did the smae thing with my tbird backing up my driveway.. lucky for my my dad parts car was the same color as mine so i just swapped doors.

i see this thread got out of hand.  but, i still wanna see more work you guys do. i wish i could paint cars good. i did mine 7 years ago and the prep wasnt as good as it should and it showing.

Carlisle is amazing been going since i was like 7 with my dad and his Falcons. now we all go up. my TC with NATO and my dad with his finally finished 63 1/2 Falcon Sprint with a 351c.. yes "c" :)  bone stock and wont go faster then a 14.04... he was trying for 13s in 1/4 mile on 13in tires lol.

Within the last week: It snowed for 3 days (roughly a foot), then it froze up and got icey, Then it poured and melted the snow mostly, Now it's really windy and wet. :bs:
I truly hate NW weather...
