So I think (after translating) that you raced a school kid with a built car in your Tbird with bad tires and a rough running engine?

Please say you did this on a track...:flame:

atco and e-town are both closed for the winter.. the nearest track is at least 2 hours away from where he is and they're probably closed.. so it's safe to say, it was definitely on the street :nono:

i only play with imports on the street.. and by play i mean rev at them when they rev at me, launch hard, then start driving like a granny lol i prefer atco, their new concrete launch pad hooks a lot better.. atco would be better, for obvious distance reasons.. i should be ready by the time atco opens

So now saftey doesn't matter around imports. Pretty funny. There's guys around here that are running 9's consistantly in civics. Good thing you don't have any of those around you.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

A 9 second Civic could spank the Sport, BUT, I don't care. The Sport would STILL be way cooler.

really? i let off before it even gets 1/4 of the way through 1st, max of 15mph.. how is that unsafe? once i launch, i back off immediately and their POS little ricebox fly past me like they're accomplishing something.. i've gotten 3 of them caught by cops so far.. it's a beautiful sight to see the red and blue flashing on the black and white, as i drive by, casually doing the speed limit ;) .. they're the morons they keep going, flying on ahead like i'm still pounding the pedal to the floorboard

there are 9 second shiznitbox civics around here, too.. they're called trailer queens, in no way street legal and in no way capable of being street legal.. unless they want to kiss their 9 second rubber band passes goodbye.. i fear no car that's powered by the front wheels, no matter who's driving, especially when i'm in the capri.. last year the capri went 9.92 with a carb and 57mm garrett.. she's now running a 64mm, F.A.S.T. system and more boost, i think i have ALL of the little puppiestraps covered around here, ESPECIALLY off the line
