Finally got some working room in the new garage, after getting some good secondary storage for the 240.

Have room, finally, now just need to find more time.

Lots of projects to do, so let's see what actually gets done.

Is that thing snow rated?

Can't wait to see the T-bird out and about again.

It's snow rated enough. It's the same grade of cover I had on the old big carport at the old place, and I would get 2-3 years out of those before needing to replace them. They have upgraded(heavier) covers for it, but that's where things start to get expensive. If it looks like we're going to see a lot of snow, I can throw another tarp over it. I'm not worried about the frame itself. It's never going to have much snow sitting on it anyway, as it'll all slide off.

I got the car out a couple times last year, but it really needs a couple things done, that I really shouldn't put off any longer.

As always, that's a ed nice car, Chuck. Glad you still have it.

As for me, hardly have any time to do anything. Still have the Stang coupe, and now a Flareside truck. Dunno why I picked the truck up, it's like 3rd down on the list of shiznit that needs attention. First off is an engine swap in two Explorers. One's a 4.0 SOHC that decided the timing chain (pass side) needed to break, so I'm doing a V8 swap sometime in the next 50 years, and my daily driver explorer also needs a fresher engine. At least it's a 5.0 already, but burns through about 3 qts oil/week.

The rest of it's pretty solid despite it's mileage. I'm second owner. I doubt I could find another '98 in as nice of a shape as this one for less than twice what I paid. I gave 1750 bucks for it at an auction.

An older couple owned it, he died, she sold off their property and moved to town.

We also have a Lexus. You want to talk about a nice car. No soul like a Fox though. I've been eyeing a V8 87 'Bird, locally. Guy wants 3K for it, which is fine, it's in good shape, but I can't part with that kind of $ right now.

Unless I sell a Mustang.

And thanks be to barrett jackson for making coupes and Foxes suddenly go up in value LOL

So I drug it out of the weeds and into the garage last Monday.  Embarrassing mess.

Already dropped the tank and located the mouse chewed nylon fuel line.

My wife thinks I'm cleaning it up to sell.  After putting my projects on hold for years and doing the homeowner, marriage and kids part of life I started slipping some of me back into life.  My Bronco II sat in this very spot for 3 1/2 years during this, in the past couple months I started hitting it hard and now its on the road and its the Cougars turn.

Edit* - F me its been nearly two years since my last post!

CLWD! It has been good talking with you again, but this pic is more scary than the last one. Hope those side moldings don't give you too much hassle getting clean. Don't show Rachael that pile of T5 swap goodness yet either ;)

Just some inspiration for you.

My Original 88 sat for 12 years before it came back to life,

Then it went from this, to this in 6 months.

So much fun to do. :D

Now 6 years later, I'm saving another one.
