Yeah I have thought about putting up a little shed for lawnmower, weedeater, chainsaws, etc.

You can see my garage in the background in this pic.  My house/garage was built in the early '50's.  My 'bird barely fits lengthwise and you have to be very careful with either car when pulling in so you don't rub the mirrors on the door frames.  What's puzzling to me is that any 1950's car had to be, uh, "girthy" compared to either of my cars.  It had to be a even tighter fit back then...

wow.. that has to suck in the winter when you're trying to tinker.. sounds like she needs a 5ft+ extension off the back :giggle:

If I tinker I have to take the car either to my Dad's pole barn or my uncles place...which sucks because all my tools and stuff are in my garage.  And I hate to impose on them when they have their own projects going on.

Yeah or VW bugs or something, lol.  Actually I'm pretty sure the guys wife always drove Buick sedans and he usually had a full sized Chevy pickup (there's no way it would have fit in there).

Nothing special, 20X28 plus a 10X12 addition. Plenty of room to work on one car. Though it's not huge I still appreciate it, because I grew up in a house with no garage and had to work outside until I bought this house. I've got it fully equipped with everything except a hoist. When I sell this house and buy a new one the garage will be a big factor in the decision process - if the new house has a garage it must be at least 24X24 and if not, it must be on a piece of land big and flat enough to build one. I'm actually thinking I'd rather build my own, because I could build it with 12' ceilings and could therefore have a hoist :hick:

That Dannmar is worth its weight in gold!!  I've had the T-chicken up on it the last three evenings poking around and cleaning off rusty scale to prep it for sealer. Also makes working on ANYTHING underneath a joy rather than a c.  Heck, once I put my wife's car on it just to put a plug in the tire!

Andnote on ceiling height...go about 12'6".  A lot of lifts are in the 142" to 145" height ranges.  That extra couple inches will make or break you.....just look at my ceiling over the lift.  Had to open her up since I ended up buying a bigger lift than I originally planned.  I need to get that closedback up before winter........

An old pic of my buddy's garage where I work on my cars.
My ranger and his turbo mustang.

Heres my garage a week before I moved in. Not much has changed except it houses a bunch of my friend's grandpa's boxes and my wrecked truck.

Beautiful garage!!  I'm considering getting a Barrel Blaster to replace my cheap HF POS.  How do you like yours?  Is it roomy enough to get the job done?  Any leaks?  Any mods you had to do to it?  Thanks in advance!  Oh........did I mention 'Beautiful garage!!!!!
