Ride control suspension question September 05, 2011, 04:24:03 AM Hey all, haven't been on in awhile, this summer has about killed me. But in the interum (sp?) my little brother has purchased an 88 TC, and he loves it (but keeps trying to trade for my SVO), anyway he said that in the corners or when the electronic ride thingy kicks on or into "sport" mode it feels great, but any other time he says it feels more like he is driving a Lincoln, and it';s all "floaty-like". Some guy at a garage told him it was probably his springs, but he was wondering if there is a way to turn the suspension on to Sport and leave it, sort of like an override? He hasn't registered here yet but I thought I'd go ahead and ask while it was fresh on my mind. Quote Selected

Ride control suspension question Reply #2 – September 05, 2011, 02:30:06 PM Ok, he said that it is on and the light on the switch comes on, but not the dash, it still acts like its in Auto mode and only comes on in corners/under boost. Quote Selected
Ride control suspension question Reply #3 – September 05, 2011, 05:19:01 PM It's possible the auto/firm switch has become touchy. AFAIK The only switch that has a light is the fuel selection switch. The only light for the suspension is in the cluster. Quote Selected
