Headliner fasteners Reply #7 – August 18, 2011, 09:27:52 AM The 87-88 Thunderbirds have little push clips across the back by the window to hold up the headliner. Similar to the ones that hold the kick panels on. Quote Selected

I ended up just going to Advance and looking at the plastic push pins till I found some that looked like the factory ones. They may be black and not light gray but who cares. No one can see them unless they are sitting in the back seat looking at the roof. Quote Selected

Headliner fasteners Reply #13 – August 19, 2011, 09:16:49 PM Yeah, it was definitely an '87-88 T-Bird thing. I was amazed at that when I had my '88 Sport...guess Ford had to cut a corner somewhere, right? Quote Selected

I doubt that you'll get them in one piece. Mine were VERY brittle, and I used a trim tool. If my paint store has them I'll buy extras. Quote Selected
