Keypad module location? June 08, 2011, 04:36:18 AM After a disappointing trip to the Ford dealer i still can't locate the code for my keypad, i was told that if the code isn't on the trunk hinge that it's stamped on the module itself. Reply #3 – June 08, 2011, 12:50:56 PM my 88 was in the trunk..... had to remove the cover in the trunk that hides the bottom of the rear speakers and back of the seat...... then on the metal tray should be a bolt or two to remove and it should swing down........ once thats down you should see a module or 2 and on one of them should be a sticker with 5 numbers, ie 13597...... there's your code...... Reply #7 – June 09, 2011, 10:42:15 AM Yea.... after you put the code in,within a few seconds, press the 3/4 button to unlock the passenger door.......also within a few seconds of the code, pushing the 5/6 button will pop the trunk....you can use either one or both but like I said within 1 - 5 second after entering the code............at any time with or with out the code you can lock the doors by pushing both 7/8 and 9/0 buttons. There is a way to change or add another 5 numerical code but I never messed with it and I don't have an owners manual to the car.
