According to the Certificate of Authenticity it's the 754th built, by VIN assignment it's the 701st to be serialized...Supposedly my '93 Lightning is the #249th built but I've never ordered a report to verify that number... Tags varied from year to year, I'm only really familiar with the '88(they were the only ones I've seen with a date) but the first number I believe is the rotation number(Build sequence for the week)... Next are the last six of the VIN and 9L is the paint code, I dunno about the remainder but trim code and similar info are likely included... Quote Selected
