Leave the scooped hood on it. Change the wheels.

Keep the scoops! Every Bird and Cat looks extra special with these on them. I know I'd love to have them on mine.

I agree on changing the wheels. I also hate pinstripes of any kind and mine will be gone if I ever get to refinishing time.

8 Holes are good looking wheels, but I think turbines would be sick as hell on that car... ;)

That would be perfect for a local pickup... But u are quite far away and I do not feel it's worth the freight. I am not ready to splurge yet anyway until it's time to do the actual refinishing. If I find a hood then great. If not I am not gonna cry. However I do appreciate you bringing me yours to attention!

8 hole wheels have to look flawless to look good. However, I think larger diameter wheels look better on these cars especially since newer cars these days with large diameter wheels have us more accustomed to a fuller more substantial look. I do not like a car running on rubber bands though.

Are you serious? I can keep an eye out up here for a cheap set of Mustang turbines if you'd like. Personally, I've got a set of 4lug 16 x 8 DragLites in the shed waiting for next spring.

No scoops...Personally I can't stand the looks of them on anything other than an 87-88TC.

And the 8-holes look better than a set of Drag-Lites would.  Then again, I've never liked Drag-Lites either.

I say no scoops, and I'm partial to turbines myself. I got a TC hood on my car right now, and I don't really like the look, but It's not going to stay. I needed my stock hood for a custom hood that will end up on my cougar in the end

They're 14x6".

I'd leave the scoops.
I like the look of turbines, but hated cleaning them.
