equalizer ?

i have a friend in nebraska who is the original owner of
a super nice 87 XR7. he has premium sound but no
equalizer was ordered. what all is needed to put one in?
is the harness there? he has a cubbby hole above the
radio. i guess we need to know what is involved to put
one in and he would need to get these parts.also a place
for a good cassette radio. the volume is intermittent.

you need the equalizer, the wiring, the amp and it uses a differant head unit than the other systems. I have the entire set up and will test it if he is interested, $220 shipped for everything in working condition.
