My Junker

Well got her out today to clean the garage, but far from done. Still need to install exhaust, wheel wells, refurbished wheels and detail the underside. It WILL be ready for the Nationals in 2011 though.

This is the twin the the Bird I bought new in 86 and the flagship for our business FOX SALVAGE.

thanks everyone. It's been a love/hate relationship.  The car is pure stock except for the Ford Motorsports springs. I am not sure If I am leaving them in there or not. Probably going to put stock spring back in for Carlisle. All Oem Ford Motorcraft belts, hoses, wires, cap, brakes, etc used, all stock OEM correct hose clamps and fasteners. car pulled down to bare shell  everything removed and taken apart, cleaned, and restored. Interior is original seats and carpet, both have had some touch up dying done for fade. All trim correct grey color, emblem chrome perfect NOS, console lid and switch plate NOS. There may be 2% aftermarket parts used on car.
Collecting and searching for quality parts for it is how our business got started. Buying complete cars for 1 or 2 parts, then it just snowballed.  Just a little history on the car itself, it is a 1 owner, fully dospoogeented every oil change, tire rotation, tune up, etc... with 164k on the clock, engine never been out of car. Everything works as new, just like 1986....
