Older Thunderbird Question

I have recently met one of my dads friends. He is one of the nicest dudes you will ever meet.  He had recently done a number of nice things for my family, and I am looking to repay him in a way that is also near and dear to his heart.

Anyway, he has a 79 thunderbird that he purchased new and has often driven but still has and keeps in great shape.  He recently lost the driver side front fender trim and was quite bummed.  He is not a computer person  and he cannot find one locally.

If anybody knows of one I would sure appreciate your letting me know.

His was chrome with a white insert.

Thanks.

1979 Thunderbird Part

I use a 1979 Thunderbird as my daily driver here in Florida, so have collected many parts for these vehicles. I have the side-impact mouldings in white for both driver and passenger side. Happy to help out with these model years: 1977-79. Tim; tcole1@tampabay.rr.com

Dude, your T-bird is a Bluenoser! What's the story behind that plate, because there's no way that car did much driving in Nova Scotia?

*edit*

Oops. Never mind. It's the St.Andrews Cross with the lion rampant out front. Tricky! ;) If that background were reversed, it would be our flag.

The Cross of St. Andrews on a Diamond Jubilee

Yes, you guys guessed it. I am both a Pastor, a Canadian living in Florida (married to a southern belle from Tennessee, celebrating 33 years of marital bliss), with much Scots blood in my veins--thus the cross of St. Andrews on the front of my 78 Diamond Jubilee. I restore these model of Birds (77-79) as a hobby now. Used to do 72-72 Mach 1's till the prices got too high. Want to sell this 78 Bird. Once that happens, I plan on finding the right 83-88 Bird to drive here in FL.

How do you like the chrome on the front of this Diamond Jubilee? Tim, Florida
