Well, I was going to comment, but was afraid that with all these emblems coming off, that more lights and random Autozone chrome stuff from the rice isle would go on. Don't forget, there's a fender that needs to be repaired. Tend to that, THEN add more lights and rice.

:laughing::makefun:
There is so many people here that put that  on their cars, but they go way over board.

omg don't worry vinnie nothing else is going on lmao and I have never put anything chrome from the rice aisle on my car ;) As for the fender I'm not messing with that until the body work/paint phase which is still at least a year away.

and here's a repost of the burnout vid I put up in the other thread. Just thought you guys would like to see that a pretty much stock 3.8L could actually do it lol.

That's just cause you can't see it up close :rollin:

On a somewhat related note, I think I am going to take off my red pinstripes. There all broken and chipped and  anyway. They look like  up close, so I think I will ditch them. Get a more clean look.

I have had some thoughts about painting the Sport black when I'm ready for the re-paint. My pinstripes, if I go with a nice black (probably Honda black), will be a nice gray to match my wheel centers.

No doubt black looks nice but you will lose that one-of-a-kind ultra distinct Vinnietbird green stands-out-from-all-crowds effect ;)

Yeah, I do agree. Jerry and I spoke of this as well, and even at that time, the green was still the top choice. Once I get the hood and trunk on, the body work will go fast. Time to start gathering funds.

Shipped. I have a bunch of model cars and other things I've got to get on Ebay. I actually have a BIG box full to the top of vintage (meaning EARLY 70's and older) Avon cologne decanters all shaped like cars, never used, and still in the boxes. Those have to go. One dollar at a time. Time to call some salvage yards and start hunting parts as well. Gotta get my game face on !!!

0-60 in 8 seconds and all the way into 3rd gear. I guess the new spark plugs helped. Oh and while changing spark plugs I discovered that I have contracted the strut tower cancer on my right side. Great.

its a little bit off. about 5 mph at that speed. I timed 8 sec at 65. If I could get a 3.55 in there I would quit chirping at takeoff and plus some functional front struts would help too. Now if I could just get that 1/4 time.....
