put your wife to work day! Reply #2 – June 05, 2010, 11:12:13 PM Nicely done! That's a pretty uncommon, 1-year-only color (Wine). Cleans up great, congrats! Better buy the wife something nice. Quote Selected

put your wife to work day! Reply #9 – June 08, 2010, 10:39:22 PM wow, these posts add up quick! Took about 6-8 hours with the buffer. I have to go over it again after a few washes to get the rest back. The interior is in good shape. apparently the guy who ordered the car was colorblind though...the car is that wine color with the blue, black and gray Turbo coupe interior. Between her buffing skills and the help from the kids she has turned out nice. Just picked up a set of snowflake wheels so they will be on soon. Thanks for the feedback guys. Quote Selected

put your wife to work day! Reply #13 – June 09, 2010, 01:14:28 PM was going to have the car painted black this winter, but now after finding out how rare it is......guess i may have it shot again with the same color. really wanted black though.....but cant kill a rare color. My first car was a 69' Dart GT and i hated the green color....but the car was 100% original with 42K on it......Didnt have the heart to change the color.....this one may be the same. Quote Selected
put your wife to work day! Reply #14 – June 09, 2010, 01:23:52 PM Is that an elan edition? If so, I think that was the equivalent to a Cougar XR7, interior-wise. I'm not sure about the seats being original but it's possible.Cleaned up, that color is just gorgeous. We had a few cars with that color at one of our past shows: Quote Selected
