well, the first codes to come across when the koeo test is run is 1-1--1-1 which is supposed to be passed.... but, there is a 1 then a short pause then 63.... after i cleared that code and started the engine... the first code that was throwed up was 98.. then 98 again.... the computer has been throwing all kinds of crazy codes all week. 23(tps)..... 63(TPS)..... 41-42(o2s L)-91-92(o2s R)... 22(map)... 33(egr) and all of these parts are new.... I can understand the Egr because it's not hooked up... But the rest make no sense because they are new or newer parts... O2s are only 18 months old...... the tps Is only 6 months old and calibrated right @ .96V... Map sensor is brand new... A C T Sensor is only 6 months old..... New fuel pressure regulator...Fuel pump 155L (one of the best names on the market)six months old..  Brand new Idle air by-pass valve Just put on thursday night... In the mornings it runs rich as  and acts up almost the whole way to work 20 miles away... In the Hot afternoons here in SC It will act up a few mile then clear up and idle well and everything.. No stutter or nothing ... Car is crazy...............87 cougar 5.0 20th ann. edition... I've replaced everything I can think of .....except the puter....

Has the timing recently been played with a bit? Spout connector unhooked and whatnot?

Plugs-wires?

If you do for sure find out the eec is bad, I have a SO 5.0 eec from my '88 Sport that I no longer need ;)

Just put new plugs in about two weeks ago. It was time for their yearly change.. Timing has been set since I changed the Timing chain about a year and a half ago... I did it the same time I changed the water pump....

HELP!!!!!!!!!!! This makes no sense.... I figured for farts and giggles I'd go back out there and give it another shot...So I done the engine warm up.. 2000 rpm For 2 min... Shut it off..Hooked jumper back up. KOER It gave me 42-92-33... no 98... Cut car off and done it again.. KOER same result.... No 98.... Then I done the KOEO... only code was 11 System pass... Makes no sense........ Anyone got some spare bullets I can borrow... And put this thing out of it's mysery?
